Ochils Edge Shepherds Hut A two person off-grid shepherds hut; set on its own, in the eastern edge of the beautiful Ochil Hills Check in is 4pm and check out is 12pm.

Situated in a cosy corner of the romantic Ochil Hills, we are offering accommodation in a traditional shepherds hut with a twist plus room for up to 2 tents on site. The glamping area is elevated commanding spectacular views across the hills providing a very peaceful experience leaving you refreshed and rested. The hut was made by a local carpenter and has been fitted with a huge panoramic window

taking in an amazing view of the surrounding countryside. We have provided a very comfy double bed, a wood burning stove, gas cooker, cutlery, crockery, drinking water, chemical toilet and many other items to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We are 40 minutes from Edinburgh, 15 minutes from Perth, under an hour to Glasgow and under 20 minutes to Gleneagles. Prices start at £55 per night with discounts offered on 3 or more nights. Tent's are £5 per tent per night, with a maximum of guests. Please email us if you want to stay longer than 3 nights to work out the best package for you. Breaking News! (actually 3 breaking news, bare with us).

It's with heavy heart we announce we no longer operate this brilliant little shepherd's hut. We can honestly hand on heart say we've had an absolute blast meeting new people from across the world every day. We count ourselves privileged. You've all been awesome. From our little dream that soon became top 10 then top 5 to nominated best or most unique Airbnb Glamping in Scotland, we thank you all. We've so many memories and made so many friends through this, there's a tear in our eye....

We're still in the glamping business and this time it's our sister huts on the wholly amazing, gorgeous, rugged and idyllic Outer Hebrides! Spotless beaches, surf, moorland, machair, crofts, peat and diesel, history and mystery, oh and that sky and light... Something else... Called Atlantic View Glamping, because that's what it is.
