The real magic doesn’t just happen around the meeting table. It’s in the conversations before the meeting starts, the introductions made over coffee, and the connections that continue long after breakfast has finished.

This morning there was a real buzz in the room. Members and visitors were sharing ideas, making new connections, opening doors for one another and setting themselves up for a productive day in business.

🏆 And the Oscar goes to… Nick Crookston🏆

This week, Craig Hurrel presented Nick with an Oscar-worthy award for his sterling presentation performance. The critics loved it, the audience was captivated, and the acceptance speech was thankfully kept within the time limit! 👏

Meanwhile, Kevin Woodward appears to be wondering whether he’s witnessing a special moment or simply feeling a bit like the third wheel… 😂

We had a full room today, with 4 guests joining us to experience the power of referral marketing and relationship-based networking.

There was plenty of energy in the room, valuable conversations, quality referrals exchanged, and great opportunities created for members and visitors alike.

Today we’re celebrating a true BNI Fair City legend.

For more than 20 years, Avey has been a constant presence in our chapter. Not only is he one of our longest-serving members, he’s also one of our biggest contributors.

Week after week, Avey turns up with the same enthusiasm, generosity and willingness to help others succeed. Referrals, introductions, advice and encouragement. Sharing is simply what he does.

Many people talk about the BNI philosophy of Givers Gain. Avey lives it every day!

As the owner of A&S Properties, he’s built a hugely successful business, but what makes him truly special is the way he supports the people around him. Whether you’re a new member or a long-standing one, chances are you’ve benefited from Avey’s knowledge, experience or guidance at some point.
