ccessible and is just five miles from the A1 and A47. We are 1.5hr from London via car and Peterborough and Stamford have train stations a short distance from us. We offer two comfortable, stylish self-catering retreats at Hall Farm and a beautiful house for six also in the centre of the village. Our country-style accommodation offers The Stables, a spacious and cosy living for two over working stables and opposite, The Archway, a recently refurbished barn conversion with a modern twist also sleeps two. Both are set around a centuries-old stone stable courtyard and enjoy individual entrances. The main family house is full of character and steeped in history dating back to mediaeval times. Boundary Cross House is a 3 bedroom house for six and has a focus on original and eye-catching interiors with elegant fabrics, artwork and bespoke furniture. We try to think of everything to make your stay more enjoyable including a complimentary welcome pack, homemade ice cream, guided geological walks and courtesy use of bicycles. Kings Cliffe stands on the edge of the Rockingham Forest and is predominantly built of Lincolnshire Limestone – offering all the beauty and charm of the Cotswolds without the bustle of tourists. We are well served with local amenities including a small supermarket, greengrocers, bakery, post office, art gallery and pub. Tranquil countryside lies within a few steps of Hall Farm and individually mapped footpaths and bridleways tempt ramblers and cyclists alike. Rutland Water is only a 15-minute drive away for more adventurous activities including sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, fishing, cycling, walking and birdwatching. The beautiful historic market towns of Stamford, Oundle, Oakham and Uppingham are within easy reach with stately Burghley House, Barnsdale Country Gardens, Kirby Hall and Rockingham Castle among attractions. Nearby Peterborough boasts a Cathedral, which is one of the finest Norman buildings surviving in Europe today.
