The property has its own garden which looks out across Trenant brook and an ancient hay meadow. The village of Peterchurch where the property is located offers pleasant walks, country pub food and real ale from either of the two pubs, a local

shop and post office for your immediate needs as well as a fabulous bistro for those evening meals out. The near by town of Hay-on-Wye is within 10 miles and the city of Hereford is within 12 miles.

If you like good food and a warm welcome then Food for Thought is a must visit when staying with us.

Check out their new website including sample menus. The new string to their bow is you can now order a selection of home make puds.

The chocolate orange cheese cake was a winner for us.

We use local produce, reducing food miles and making the most of seasonality. Peterchurch, Golden Valley, Herefordshire. Near Hereford and Hay-on-Wye.

If your staying with us soon make sure you take a stroll on the footpath that runs across our farm and through our wood. Soon the wood floor will be a blanket of white and blue as the wild garlic and bluebells come into bloom.

If you love that garlic smell make sure to breathe deeply and enjoy that garlic scent.

Since we last posted we now have a super cute pair of pigmy goats (who are the masters of escaping)

Our loan wondering chicken was so pleased to be out of chicken lockdown (due to avian flu) she went to visit the goats.

If you are joing us this month you will get to meet all the new baby lambs and if you are planning to join us in July you will get to meet baby calves. 😍
