The Halfway Bridge

The Halfway Bridge Restaurant & luxury accommodation in the heart of the glorious South Downs National Park.

Set in the heart of the glorious South Downs National Park the 250 year old Halfway Bridge is flanked by two historic market towns: Midhurst, home to the Cowdray Estate, Cowdray Ruins and International polo, and Petworth, the antique centre of southern England with its famous country house and deer park. A charming 17th century coaching inn, the informal but eminently stylish Halfway Bridge has been recently renovated to a superior standard. Whether you seek a cosy base from which to explore the area's many charms or the kind of relaxed luxury that lends itself to romance or respite, be assured you'll find it here.
