There's nothing better than sitting by a firepit watching out for shooting stars.

We're in a designated dark skies area and each pod has its own firepit, as do some of our camping pitches.

This beautiful pair of Canada Geese returned in March to their nesting spot by the pond here on the farm. Always exactly the same place. If all seven of this year's little ones survive (and no reason to think they won't as Mama and Papa Goose are amazing parents), that will be 29 goslings to date.

It's an absolute delight and privilege to watch them at such close proximity - but Papa Goose let's you know in no uncertain terms when you push the boundaries!
