Kale Pot Cottage is a holiday cottage standing alone in our 3 acre paddock it is secluded but only 100 yards from a tarmac drive. It is a converted 18th Century barn offering self-catering peace and tranquillity in comfort. Kale Pot Cottage is in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, less than two miles from NYMR Levisham Station, just off a Forest Drive

BT say that they are unable to repair until a date later in November. As part of the Rewilding of Newtondale they are going to clear fell Pfiffle Head Wood - but first they had to get access across the railway line and Pickering Beck. So they built a bridge! And transported it a couple of miles from Kidstye to Pfiffle Head.

A lovely evening view from Kale Pot.
We're grateful for all the hard work by firefighters, farmers and volunteers controlling the moorland fire which is now in its third week. Thankfully we are not affected, but thoughts go out to those in that area.
