☀️ Announcing a New Festival for Pickering… Save the Dates!

🌞 Pickering Midsummer Festival will take place around the Summer Solstice, from Thursday 18th June - Tuesday 23rd June 2026, in the beautiful and historic town of Pickering North Yorkshire.

✨ It will be a folk traditions themed weekend of music, author events, storytelling, art, performance, heritage crafts, a dash of midsummer magic, plus more as it develops over time.

🌙 There’ll be much more announced over the coming weeks — including an exciting lineup of events — but for now we just wanted to share the early news that it’s happening!

It's all hands on with decorating, spring cleaning and maintenance. Rosedale Cottage has been having a repaint this week.
Stocking up the log store, although Spring has arrived this week, and lovely to see some colour with daffodils appearing.
Why not look for a March break to come and enjoy brisk walks either on the Moors or at the Coast, and relax back in one of our luxury cottages.

This is Loki who is 14 years old . He and his owners have just been staying with us in Farndale Cottage. They have been coming to Eastgate Cottages for over thirteen years and there is nothing Loki likes better than stretching out in front of the log burner after a long walk.
We accept dogs in the majority of our 13 cottages in Pickering at no extra cost.
