Absolutely lovely hosts who left us to get on with it but were around if needed The cottage is in a beautiful peaceful location and the cottage itself was beautiful had everything we could possibly need and cake on arrival was a delicious added bonus seeing the sheep in the field nearby was a lovely sight on a morning loved watching them. There was plenty to do there if had little ones but even a wander around the garden and sit in the summer house was nice for us as adults highly recommend we are desperate to return ! and will do so hopefully soon.
Tips for other travellers
Located literally just outside Pickering there are so many places to see and things to do locally including the North Yorkshire moors steam railway which is a lovely experience there are lots of little villages picture postcard villages with lots of places of interest the ice cream at Thornton le Dale and the chocolate shop there too lots of tea rooms on Goathland The coast is only a 30 to 45 Mon drive away Whitby Scarborough the beautiful Dalby forest and York isn't too far away either I'm from York originally and still find things to do up in that part of the world and absolutely love Pickering and surrounding areas
