While our setting is rural, we are just 1.5 miles from Pickering, and a 30-40 minute drive will take you to York, the Yorkshire coast, or many other attractions. The local area offers an abundance of activities, from the stunning North York Moors National Park and the thrilling rides at Flamingo Land to adventurous bike rides through Dalby Forest, exploring numerous abbeys and castles, relaxing on the beaches or rock-pooling at Robin Hood's Bay, or delving into Viking history in York. With so much to see and do, a week is simply not enough to experience it all.

The grass in the chicken paddock got so long that it turned into a game of hide-and-seek with the chickens! To help them out, we’ve sent in the ultimate eco-friendly mowing team.
