A historic moment deserves a heroic lunch.
Scotland won the football, spirits are high, and the gravy is flowing like champagne in the dressing room.

Today’s starting XI at The Ballinluig Inn:

🥩 Topside of Beef — big, bold, and built like a centre‑half. Slow‑roasted, carved thick, and absolutely refusing to lose a battle on the plate.

🐖 Pork Loin — smooth, reliable, and cooler under pressure than any of us were in stoppage time. Crackling so good it should’ve been shown on VAR.

🍖 Leg of Lamb — tender, classy, and guaranteed to score with every bite. The roast equivalent of a last‑minute winner.

All served with roasties, seasonal veg, Yorkies, and gravy that deserves its own open‑top bus tour through Ballinluig.

Scotland won. You’re hungry.

Every week brings new faces through our doors — travellers, families, locals, explorers — and every so often, their words paint such a vivid picture that we can’t help but share the story.

This past week, your TripAdvisor reviews have felt like a wee collection of postcards from the road.
