As the season slows and comes to close, we begin to refresh the lodge in preparation for next year. First… we have a brand new matress, which arrived today! We had so many compliments about our last mattress that we bought the same again.

From Ross and myself at Weighbridge, we would like to wish all our guests a very happy New Year. It was lovely to meet you all during our first year and the support has been so overwhelmingly positive we are incredibly grateful! I’m so happy to announce that Weighbridge Lodge has been given superhost status on Airbnb after only 4 months. 🎉

Thank you to everyone who has left feedback and we take on board all comments to give you the best experience. They have included:
- hooks to hang the hot tub robes outside by the tub.
- flip flops for the duration of your stay (which match the robes 😉)
- instant coffee available as an alternative

And we are working on some other amazing ideas, as well as general maintenance to keep the lodge looking fresh.

Thank you again to everyone! We really are so chuffed.

We still have availability for Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 August for the British Firework championships held in Plymouth!
Our little lodge may be out of the town centre but we are next door to the coypool park and ride which runs through the evening to take people to and from the event.
But be warned, once you watch the championship it will ruin you for all other displays 🤩

Our hot tub is tucked away, in its own little space, surrounded by our lovingly grown trees, plants and flowers. In the evening there’s a heavenly mix of jasmine and honeysuckle to help you relax and unwind. The hot tub is a large 5 seater, with lights, powerful jets and built in Bluetooth speakers so you can play your favourite tunes. Bliss.

It’s always bitter sweet when the EA come to cut the grass. The wild flowers and plants really attract the bees and other wildlife. They have left large chunks of the bank this year, which is great.
It’s also good news for all our guests, especially those bringing their dogs. Using our secret river gate, you can stretch your legs and take in the beautiful tidal river. Bliss
