Golden evenings on the Devon south coast are pretty special. Bigbury-on-Sea is just one of the beautiful spots within easy reach of Elfordleigh, and dogs are very welcome all year round on the beach to the west of the causeway. 🐾

Heading this way on your next stay? Our fabulous reception team have a dog walking guide ready at check-in with all the best local routes and a few hidden favourites. 🗺️

Walks include: Saltram, Burrator Resevoir, Wembury, Princetown, Cann Wood and Yennadon Down. 🥾

We’ve just had the most glorious weekend hosting an outdoor wedding on the terrace. ☀️

No sneak peaks just yet but we do think this gorgeous tiered cake might just be the prettiest thing we’ve seen for a while. Cake heaven for sure 🍰

Our Brasserie team are recommending the Sandridge Barton Dart Valley Reserve this week, a Devon-grown white from just along the river at Stoke Gabriel. Crisp, easy-going, made for long lunches and unhurried afternoons. Best shared.
