When you stay with us, our aim is to give you a real sense of peace, privacy and seclusion. 🌳
Unfortunately, our alpacas and llamas haven't quite got the message and may occasionally stand at your garden gate and stare at you. Sorry about that. 🦙😂

Autumn is such a lovely time for an alpaca or llama walk! 🍂🦙

Wrap up warm, wander through our peaceful woodland and enjoy a little fresh air and some rather wonderful company along the way. 🥰

Our little honesty shop is now open too, with alpaca gifts, handmade goodies and fresh eggs from the Darling hens. 🐔

From a sunset stroll with the alpacas & llamas to a very special surprise waiting back at their cabin, it was one of those evenings we'll remember for a long time.

Still feeling very lucky that we got to be a little part of their story. 🥹❤️🦙

It was a lovely sunny morning for our alpaca and llama walk today! ☀️🦙
With a few spaces left on the walk, I got the chance to take Mambo No.5 out myself.
Absolutely delightful company, as always! ❤️

There are loads of lovely places where you can walk an alpaca or llama, and plenty of wonderful owners who genuinely care about their animals.
But remember, a good alpaca or llama experience should be enjoyable for the animals, not just the humans! 🦙❤️
And if somewhere regularly advertises spitting, chasing people or aggressive behaviour as something funny, perhaps ask yourself why.

There's a difference between laughing at an animal's personality and making entertainment out of its distress.

Alpacas & llamas through the seasons… ☀️🍂❄️🌱

Sunshine, autumn leaves, frosty mornings and the occasional bit of Yorkshire rain - there’s something about spending an hour outdoors with alpacas and llamas that seems to make everyone smile. 🙂

Our experiences run all year round here at The Darling Woods, whatever the weather. Thankfully, the alpacas & llamas really don’t care what the forecast says! 🦙
