The Heartwood. ❤️

Tucked away in its own private woodland garden with no neighbours overlooking you, no crowds, and no schedule to keep.

Just birdsong, crackling fires, long soaks in the hot tub, and the occasional alpaca wandering past to say hello.

Some guests come to celebrate anniversaries. Some come to propose. Others arrive exhausted from busy lives and spend a few days doing very little at all!

No WiFi. No rush. No pressure to do anything.

Just your own little piece of woodland for a while.

Alpaca fleece sorting day! 🦙☀️
Because shearing day was a little damp (not ideal for alpaca fleece!), we’ve rolled everything out in the polytunnel to dry before the real work begins… skirting, noodling and sending it off to the mill!

And just wait until you see the state of Rupert’s fleece 🤦🏼‍♀️😂
If you know Rupert, you’ll know that he spends most of his life under trees & rolling around in mud!

May is just magic here… 🌼

Buttercups everywhere, wildlife around every corner, alpacas wandering past your breakfast table and long evenings spent soaking in the wood fired hot tub.

....look what we found! 🐈‍⬛️

If you've been following us for a while, you'll know that we often find kittens on our farm. This time was a little different though as mum cat seems to have disappeared and left this little one all alone.

We waited it out for mum cat to return but then made the decision to bring the kitten home - we were especially worried as the weather is going to be so hot tomorrow!

We think he's about 3 weeks old and will need feeding every 3-4 hours. Wish us luck! 😴
