Open all year round, we are suitable for, couples or individuals, and are proving especially popular with walkers and cyclists. Well behaved owners and dogs are welcome, we have a small dog exercise area. We welcome caravans and motorhomes to our flat well-drained pitches,

with facilities including electrical hook ups, wash outs for chemical toilets, Wi-Fi, toilets and showers

£27 per night per unit with EHU (Electrical Hook up) and Wi-Fi. An additional £5 per night is charged for awnings, £3 extra cars and £3 extra people.

A Little Gem Has Become Available at The Mile! 🌟

For the first time in a while, our holiday let has availability over the coming month.

Many of you will know it as my parents’ granny flat, which now provides cosy and comfortable accommodation for guests looking to enjoy a relaxing stay at The Mile.

Ideally situated within walking distance of the charming market town of Pocklington, it’s the perfect base for exploring the local area. Whether you’re planning a day out in York, a trip to the beautiful East Yorkshire coast, or simply want to enjoy the countryside, everything is within easy reach.

Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of The Mile, with our café on site, beautiful rural surroundings, and plenty of opportunities to unwind.

Whether you’re visiting family, attending an event, exploring Yorkshire, or just fancy a short break, we’d love to welcome you. Sleeps two and available from 15th June, sorry no pets.

☀️ Well… what a Bank Holiday weekend! ☀️

Who needs abroad when we get weather like this right here in Yorkshire? 😍

A full campsite, sunshine from start to finish, lots of returning visitors, and still such a peaceful atmosphere — you could even hear the birds singing. 🐦💚

Thank you to everyone who chose to spend the weekend with us, whether you were returning once again or visiting for the first time. We loved seeing the campsite so full of happy campers enjoying the sunshine, relaxing and making memories. ☀️🚐

You know when the weather turns so warm that a BBQ would have been a more sensible plan than a Pie, Mash n Peas Supper☀️🥧🙈🤣

Whilst it was rather hot 🥵 in the kitchen, our guests enjoyed have a few beers and eating al fresco 🪾🍃 🌼

I think we’ve all been having a rough ride with the weather lately! ☔️ Thankfully, it looks like we’re finally in for a spot of dry and sunny weather this Bank Holiday weekend ☀️

Friday evening - Pie, mash & peas will be on, and the pub will be open 🍺🥧.

Saturday you could have stroll ☀️to the market town of Pocklington with it’s independent pubs, shops and restaurants - a 15 minute walk away.

We’ve just got a couple of pitches left if anyone fancies a last-minute getaway

Bank holiday weekend… one of two halves 🌤️

We started with beautiful sunshine, then it turned a little chillier—but somehow that just added to the atmosphere.

Once again, I’m struck by how peaceful it can feel, even with a full campsite. There’s something really special about that… people slowing down, settling in, just enjoying the space.

And to finish it all off, the most beautiful sunset this evening—one of those moments that never quite looks the same in a photo as it does in real life ✨

Looking ahead, we’ve got a lovely few weekends coming up here…

• The following weekend – our Health & Wellbeing event 🔮
• Then another bank holiday weekend to round it all off
