Ben & Myrrhine’s lovely Yorkshire home is the best place we have ever stayed. The stunning surroundings and view from the glazed wall is beyond anything we imagined from the pictures online. To wake up with a view of the sunrise, sheep, cows and chickens was just the most perfect start to our day. Guest review Sept 23.

We had a wonderful few days at the owl house. We enjoyed all the lovely walks around and so did Lexie our dog. We ate at the Middleton Arms and The Buck (both dog friendly) - both meals delicious home cooked and walkable from the owl house.

Gorgeous morning. The sun ☀️ rises low and late at this time of year but it’s always possible to find a good spot to drink it in along with my morning coffee. Today we’re looking out over the paddock and woods, Howardian hills and the vale of Pickering in the distance. Time for coffee #2 I think… 😂.
