Hello, September! 🍂🍁

A new month, a new season and plenty to look forward to at Wentbridge House.

Our new September Prix Fixe menu has arrived in the Brasserie, with two courses and a glass of House Wine for £27.95 per person, available at lunchtime Monday to Saturday.

Our Children’s Afternoon Tea summer offer continues until 6th September, before a busy month of events begins…

🍂 8th September - Bohemia Summer of Sound Bath Experience.

🍂 20th September - Autumn Wedding Showcase.

🍂 25th September - Friday Night Grill with Live Music.

🍂 26th September - Macmillan Coffee Morning.

If September feels like the perfect time to escape for a night or two, our seasonal Escape & Unwind break is also back, from £125 per person, including dinner, Champagne and breakfast, with a few extra Wentbridge touches along the way.

Add Sunday Lunch, Afternoon Tea, autumn walks through the Went Valley and the first signs of the season changing across our gardens, and September is shaping up rather nicely.

Bank Holiday at Wentbridge House

An extra day to enjoy good food, good company and a little time at Wentbridge.

Join us for lunch or dinner in the Brasserie, with our traditional Sunday Lunch served throughout the day tomorrow.

Afternoon Tea is served every day, and our summer holiday treat for families continues – enjoy a complimentary Children’s Afternoon Tea when you purchase two Summer Meadow or Proper Yorkshire Afternoon Teas.

On Bank Holiday Monday, our Prix Fixe menu is available at lunchtime, giving you another very good reason to stretch the weekend out a little longer.

Or simply call in for drinks or a light bite in the Drawing Room, where dogs are very welcome too.

And with our gardens to wander and the beautiful Went Valley countryside all around us, there’s no need to hurry home.

Happy Yorkshire Day!

Today we're celebrating everything that makes Yorkshire so special - its people, its landscapes, its warmth and its unmistakable pride. It also feels like the perfect day to remember one of our dearest friends and guests, Tim.

Proudly Yorkshire through and through, Tim always loved seeing the Yorkshire flag flying at Wentbridge House. It became one of those little traditions that made him smile, and seeing it today reminded us of him.

Wentbridge was one of Tim's favourite places, and it was a privilege to share so many memories with him over the years. He is greatly missed by our team, and by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Today, as the White Rose flies proudly above Wentbridge House, we're thinking of Tim and raising a smile in his memory.

Happy Yorkshire Day. White Rose, always.

Sometimes, the happiest moments are the ones you've waited the longest for.

Last December, our Head Receptionist, Vicky, and her husband, Adam, welcomed their beautiful son, Ezra, into the world three months early. Born on 15th December weighing just 580g, his journey began with more challenges than any family should have to face.

After months of strength, resilience and love, Ezra finally came home on 1st July. Today, we were honoured to welcome Vicky, Adam and little Ezra back to Wentbridge House for lunch.

Seeing Ezra here today, now weighing almost 4kg, was a moment that reminded us just how precious life is and how remarkable the smallest fighters can be.

Vicky and Adam, we couldn't be happier for you. Thank you for letting us share in such a special chapter of your story.

Welcome to the Wentbridge family, Ezra. We have a feeling you're going to be very loved here. 🤍
