Ein Teulu Ni: A little reintroduction from our family!
This photo was taken on New Year’s Eve, a rare night out together as a family, and it felt like the right moment to pause and reflect on why Cytie means so much to us.
Six years ago, I made the difficult, yet necessary decision to leave teaching so I could be more present for our children. I wanted to be there for the school runs, the assemblies, the muddy boots, the bedtime chats, all the moments that pass far too quickly. Cytie made that possible, and in so many ways, it gave us a life we dreamed of but didn’t know was achievable.
Running the huts isn’t easy. It’s long days, early mornings, late nights, and constantly juggling a very busy family timetable alongside farm life and a growing business. There are moments when it feels overwhelming, but we make it work because we love it. We believe in it. And we believe in what it’s teaching our children.
Because of Cytie, I can fully support my husband, who works incredibly hard on the farm, and we get to be true teammates, building something together, side by side. Our children see the effort, the commitment, and the resilience it takes. They see that hard work doesn’t always look glamorous, but it does pay off.
None of this would be possible without our guests. Every booking, every kind message, every recommendation supports not just a small business, but a family and the life we’re working so hard to build.
Thank you for being part of our journey, for believing in us, and for allowing us to raise our children in the way we always hoped we could 🤍
Here’s to family, gratitude, and continuing to show our children that dreams are worth working for.
Diolch o galon! 🫶🏻
