Founded in 2006 by Helen Challis, Quay Holidays began with just five properties in Poole. Built on Helen’s background in residential property management and a hands-on, detail-driven approach, the business quickly grew through repeat guests and owner recommendations. Today, Quay Holidays is a proudly family-owned and independently run company, managing over 120 carefully selected holiday homes from Poole to Christchurch.

We’re so pleased to hear that our guests enjoyed their stay at Park Lake View, from the beautiful views across Poole Lake and the abundance of wildlife 🦢🦆 to the bright, airy accommodation and comfortable surroundings.

📍 Just a gentle 15-minute walk into Poole Centre, with shops and restaurants nearby, and ideally located for exploring the wider area — from boat trips and coastal adventures to Monkey World, Bournemouth and Swanage. 🚤🌊

It’s fantastic to hear that the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and on-site parking all helped make the stay enjoyable too.

⚓ A piece of Poole history is about to set sail for the final time.

For over 30 years, Barfleur has been a familiar sight in Poole Harbour, carrying passengers across the Channel and becoming part of the town's maritime story. On 12th October, you can be there to witness her final departure and join the harbour's farewell from the water.

🎃 Farmer Palmer’s Halloween Half Term – spooky silliness, a Halloween quiz, Snotbags Disco, a maize maze and plenty of animal fun, running 24 October–1 November 2026.

🎃 Sherborne Castle & Gardens Pumpkin Trail – hunt for escaped pumpkins, follow the clues and enjoy a family adventure through the gardens from 24 October–1 November. Fancy dress is welcome!

🎃 Lulworth Castle – explore the autumn trails, hunt for pumpkins, enjoy traditional games and crafts, and brave the Zombie Barn!

⭐ ANOTHER FIVE-STAR STAY AT HOTEL DU VAN! ⭐

There’s nothing better than hearing from guests who know Rockley Park inside out — and this review really made us smile! ❤️

Our recent guests at Hotel du Van described their stay as:

✨ Beautiful, clean & excellently equipped
📺 Smart TVs in every room
🍽️ Dishwasher & washing machine
🛏️ Fresh towels & linen
🧴 Toiletries provided
🧻 Toilet roll included
🎁 And a welcome pack they described as an “absolute godsend”!

Having stayed at Rockley Park in privately owned vans for over 5 years, they told us Hotel du Van was the best one they’ve stayed in — what a compliment! 🥰

They also loved the location, just a short stroll from the shop and entertainment, with the beach within a reasonable walk. 🌊☀️

And perhaps the best part…
