Pirates ahoy! 🏴‍☠️⚓️

🏴‍☠️ Harry Paye Day is THIS SATURDAY and celebrating 100 years of collecting for charities in the area.

The beloved annual community pirate festival held on Poole Quay, is celebrating the town's famous 15th-century privateer Harry Paye. Organised by the PIRATES OF POOLE, the free event is taking place this weekend, drawing thousands of people dressed in full pirate attire.

Location: Poole Quay, Dorset (BH15 1HA)
Time: 12noon until 6pm
Cost: Free admission.

What to Expect... ⚓

The Parade of Pirates: The day kicks off at midday with a vibrant walking parade led by the Pirates of Poole, including marching bands, decorated floats, and hundreds of participants in costume.

Live Entertainment: The quayside features two stages with live local bands and foot-stomping sea shanty crews.

Family Activities: Attendees can enjoy cannons and muskets fired on the hour, children's rides, face painting, treasure hunts, and traditional fairground games. 🎡

Charity Focus: The event is highly community-focused, with the Pirates of Poole organising the day to raise money for local charities.
