Waterside House Campsite, Ullswater Waterside Farm Campsite Ullswater We are a working farm and campsite on the shore of Ullswater in the Lake District .

Waterside House farm and Campsite has been run by the same family for five generations. The farmhouse is dated 1694 and is part of a working farm with land covering 279 acres. The farm is home to a flock of Swaledale Ewes, who spend most of their time on the nearby Barton Fell. At certain times of the year you may see the sheep being dipped, sheared or even the birth of a lamb.You will certainly s

ee sheepdogs at work. Cattle and calves are reared and can be seen in the fields around the campsite during the summer months

Waterside House provides excellent facilities and a peaceful park in which to relax and enjoy your holiday in the midst of the Lakeland Scenery. Our clients, many of whom return year after year, are mainly families, couples, walkers and a few well-supervised groups who enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Facilities include

❎Information post:❎ Now we have had some rain and the ground has been inspected, we are now be permitting firepits and BBQ's on site. They must be supervised and extinguished before bed. Please be responsible when using fires on site. In accordance with the government ban disposable BBQs should not be used and nor will they be on sale in the shop
