Last bank holiday Monday we decided to take the van down and have a night with a fire in the pit and a barbecue.
In our own little camping space.
It’s hardly used now because we no longer advertise it.
Just friends and word of mouth.
As only the very top of the very large field is flat enough for camping there is only space for one party at a time to camp there. At most it can take a couple of tents or vans or caravan.
And we can now only have camping on it for 60 days
Also it’s only got one composting lol and one shower it doesn’t have the facilities for more than a small party that are together.
So since we took the yurts down it’s not financially viable to let it commercially as a campsite.
However if any friends or those I know on here fancy a few days camping - tent, van or small caravan, next year.
In a very peaceful place, with no others and wonderful views.

I do charge as if it’s used the gas for the shower, the electric- it has electric in the summer house and electric hook up. Which we have to pay for.
And if it’s in use. We have to cut the grass, clean the loo, shower, kitchen. And repair anything broken etc.
But the fee is reasonable
