The Machrie pairings. Hole 18. Dram three.
As we've worked our way through the course, we finish on the eighteenth right in front of the hotel, where the peat lands are.

We finish our flight with Caol Ila 18 - the archetypal Islay dram. Smoky, peaty with a touch of fruit. A classic Islay whisky to finish on.

The Machrie pairings. Hole seven. Dram two.

The seventh at The Machrie plays along the white sands of Laggan Bay, Atlantic surf rolling in.

We're pairing it with Bruichladdich 16 Year Old Organic Barley. Coastal, floral, mineral, built to hold its own against the wind coming off the water. It doesn't compete with the view — it echoes it.
