We were saddened to hear that St Ninians tea room will be closed over Easter and for the next 4 weeks, but totally understand given the pressures faced by all hospitality businesses currently.

We have already been asked if the pub will be extending its operating hours as a result. We have always tried to operate in partnership with the hall by focusing on the evenings whilst the hall was open through the day. Consequently we have set up our staffing around this model and we will continue to open on our Spring hours.

We share the villages concern and we know that there will be public outcry that we need to know whats going on. But as the hall is run as a business its operation should be left to the current board and management. I'm sure the trustees would welcome offers of practical help but it would be inappropriate for the situation to be resolved by public debate, especially by those without relevant work experience and full knowledge of the facts.

We wish Isle Futures team the best of luck in solving the problems and look forward to the hall being open again.
