What a small world! 🌍

Class mates Connie and Brodie said goodbye to each other at the start of the October holidays before they both went away with their families. Little did they know they would be seeing each other a lot sooner as both families had booked to stay with us at Lochend!
They had a brilliant week playing together and created this lovely duck food castle from the empty boxes!
What a brilliant story to tell when they go back to school 💕

We are fully booked for the October Holidays so here are some suggestions of what to do while you are here.
There’s plenty to do without leaving Lochend; enjoy the view, book a sauna, go paddle boarding/ kayaking, organise a foraging walk with Herbal Homestead, play in the games room and fill your tum at Nick's.
If you want to go a wee bit further afield we recommend; Blair Drummond Safari Park, Briarlands Activity Centre, Wee Skelfs at Green Aspirations Scotland, Dounans Holiday club, Go Ape! Or Pumpkin picking Arnprior Farm.
There is lots more we could recommend so if there is a particular interest you have please send us a message or ask when you are here!

Our beloved jetty has had a rebuild… it’s one of the most photographed spots at Lochend…perfect for feeding the ducks, taking in the sunset and sharing special moments 🥰

Lochend Legend 🐾

Mr Oliver (Ollie) Jonathan (Johno) Cat Esquire died peacefully after a short illness. He was 17. Whilst he often drove us mad sneaking into folks chalets, he was loved and admired and will be missed by us all.

Longtime love of Lochend 🥰

Norman and Janet Downs have been visiting with their family since the seventies. They have seen the chalets grow and change over the years just as we have seen their family grow. They have spent lots of time on the water, using our sailing boats back before the Lake became a premier trout fishing lake.
Over the years they have spent many a celebration with us. Their most recent visit was last week to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary.
We are so lucky at Lochend to have so many regular customers that have been visiting for decades and we have these amazing stories and pictures to share.

🌚 Eclipse at Lochend 🌝

Although the eclipse itself was a little overcast, the atmosphere at Lochend certainly made up for it. Roll Outdoors brought paddle boards and kayaks down for our customers which created a lovely scene with lots of people out on the lake as the light dipped and came back up.
