Lochend Legend 🐾

Mr Oliver (Ollie) Jonathan (Johno) Cat Esquire died peacefully after a short illness. He was 17. Whilst he often drove us mad sneaking into folks chalets, he was loved and admired and will be missed by us all.

Longtime love of Lochend 🥰

Norman and Janet Downs have been visiting with their family since the seventies. They have seen the chalets grow and change over the years just as we have seen their family grow. They have spent lots of time on the water, using our sailing boats back before the Lake became a premier trout fishing lake.
Over the years they have spent many a celebration with us. Their most recent visit was last week to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary.
We are so lucky at Lochend to have so many regular customers that have been visiting for decades and we have these amazing stories and pictures to share.

🌚 Eclipse at Lochend 🌝

Although the eclipse itself was a little overcast, the atmosphere at Lochend certainly made up for it. Roll Outdoors brought paddle boards and kayaks down for our customers which created a lovely scene with lots of people out on the lake as the light dipped and came back up.

Lochend BBQs 🌞

Suns out, BBQ on, sitting enjoying a cold drink looking out at the water, what more could you want?!
The BBQ coals we provide couldn’t be anymore local and eco friendly if we tried! They are made just 5mins up the road at Green Aspirations Scotland.
Bunty spend the day with Jo and Paul following the process of turning logs into charcoal.
These lovely coals are provided when you hire one of our BBQs and more can be purchased from the office if needed.
