Last week we completed our sale of the Old Butchers - having chatted to the new owners we are sure it is in great hands.
The best news is they are letting it via Porthleven Holiday Cottages meaning those of you who love it have the opportunity to holiday there again!

Sorry to be announcing we have made the difficult decision to stop holiday letting in early April 25. We have absolutely loved welcoming our lovely guests & nurturing the Old Butchers but it’s time for us to have more time and freedom as we head into retirement.
Thank you to those who have stayed with us and particularly those who have come again and again,
If you want to have one more visit before we close there is lots of availability through winter and early spring,

Introducing Cantina, our newest restaurant in the village. We were lucky to be invited along to try the food on Thursday and it was fantastic. Love what they have done to the building, it has a really cool vibe and a great atmosphere!

Our best seller on opening night... The soft taco trio!

Blackened fish, fried chicken, and sweetcorn fritters stuffed full of chilli slaw, avocado and jalapeño aioli 😍 (we can also swap out fillings so you can have all meat, all fish, all veggie, a combination of the three).

We're open all day Saturday and Sunday before taking Monday off to regroup after a crazy opening weekend, then back open 7 days a week.

The boot room is a such a useful space in the house with lots of coat hooks and a shoe rack, we’ve given it a refresh this winter with new units and pictures, looking very smart!
