Congratulations to both the Porthmadog and District Darts League and the Station Inn for their 12-hour darts marathon on Sunday in support of Alaw Ward Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital (Awyr Las - The North Wales NHS Charity) and Dementia Go Gwynedd.

The Banc restaurant was proud to support their fund-raising and donated £500. Llongarfarchidau!

December's charity donation...
This month we have decided to give our £1,000 donation to the Awyr Las - The North Wales NHS Charity (Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital) Charity, and have asked that the money goes to help with the treatment of people living with Crohn's and Colitis. We sincerely thank all the staff at Ysbyty Gwynedd Hospital for their dedication!

The Banc team would also like to thank our customers for their continued support. We are proud of being able to help our local community in this way.

November's charity donation - Prostate Cancer UK

Our Banc customers will know that we are really serious at putting our community first. We have decided to give this month's £1,000 donation to the Prostate Cancer UK charity.

This one is for all the guys, mates, dads, uncles, nephews, sons, brothers, grandads, and grandpas!

October's charity donation / Rhodd Elusennol mis Hydref...

Mae tîm Y Banc wedi rhannu cyfraniad mis Hydref o £1,000 rhwng Cylch Meithrin Tremadog a Chyfeillion Ysgol Y Gorlan. Roedd y ddwy elusen yn derbyn £500 yr un!

Hoffem ddiolch i’n cwsmeriaid am eu cefnogaeth cyson. Rydym yn falch o gefnogi’r gymuned leol drwy’r cynllun yma.

The Banc team have donated October's £1,000 jointly to Cylch Meithrin Tremadog and Cyfeillion Ysgol y Gorlan. Both charities have received £500 each!

We would like to thank our customers for their continued support. We are proud of being able to help our local community in this way.

October's charity giveaway...

We may be just a small restaurant, but we're local, and we care for our local community in a really big way.

We have another £1,000 to give away next month, so please help us to find a worthy cause.

In September we donated £1,000 to the fantastic volunteers at RNLI Criccieth Lifeboat - Bad-achub Cricieth, so this time we'll be choosing a different charity.

Don't be alarmed!

The Banc is pleased to announce that Emma Pritchard has been appointed as our new Restaurant Manager. Emma has worked at the Banc since the first day the restaurant opened in 2019.

Emma is also a retained Firefighter at Porthmadog, so please don't be alarmed if you're in the Banc and there's a loud noise from her pager, as she runs out of the restaurant - she will be going out to do more important work for our community.

The Banc is proud to support Emma's work with North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru
