Housekeeping Team Member Required
As the season gets off to a fantastic start, we are looking for additional Housekeeping Team Members to join our friendly team at the Royal Sportsman Hotel.
This is a morning-based position, with shifts typically starting in the morning and finishing in the early afternoon, making it ideal for those looking for daytime working hours.
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who:
Have excellent attention to detail
Take pride in maintaining high standards
Are able to work both independently and as part of a team
Are energetic, hardworking and organised
Can work efficiently while delivering exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel
Have a positive and friendly attitude towards both guests and colleagues
Duties will include:
Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms
Servicing stay-over rooms
Cleaning public areas
Replenishing guest amenities and supplies
Assisting with laundry duties when required
Ensuring the hotel is presented to the highest standard at all times
Hours Available
Up to 5 days per week during the main season
A slight reduction in hours during quieter periods
Flexible opportunities for applicants seeking fewer days per week
As hospitality is a seven-day-a-week business, the role will include:
Weekend working and Bank Holiday working
Applicants must have a reliable way of travelling to and from work, particularly for weekends and Bank Holidays. If relying on public transport, please ensure local bus or train services allow you to arrive and leave within the required shift times.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. What matters most is a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards our guests have come to expect.
