💙 CHARITY AUCTION FOR KIRKWOOD HOSPICE 💙

We just wanted to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported our charity auction so far. ❤️

The prize is a 3-night stay at our very special Killantringan Lighthouse Keepers Cottage, overlooking the beautiful coastline near Portpatrick. 🌊🏡

We’re absolutely blown away that the current highest bid is now £550! 🥰

This means so much to us personally. Kirkwood Hospice is a charity that has become incredibly important to our family because of the wonderful care, kindness and support they continue to give to Dad, as well as the support they provide to our whole family during what is an incredibly difficult time.

The staff at Kirkwood are truly amazing. They give so much more than medical care — they provide compassion, dignity, comfort and reassurance when families need it most. ❤️

So, rather than simply enjoying another stay at our little cottage, we thought it would be lovely to turn it into something that could help raise money for this incredible charity.

Every bid, every share and every kind message really does mean the world to us. Thank you. ❤️

❤️ CHARITY AUCTION – 3 NIGHTS AT KILLANTRINGAN LIGHTHOUSE ❤️

We’re really pleased to be offering a 3-night stay at Killantringan Lighthouse Keepers Cottage in South West Scotland, with 100% of the money raised going to The Kirkwood Hospice.

The Kirkwood is a charity that means a huge amount to us and our family. We’ve seen first-hand the incredible care, kindness and support they provide, not just to patients, but to their families too. ❤️

The work they do is truly amazing, helping people through some of the most difficult times in their lives and making sure that patients receive compassionate, dignified care when they need it most.

And because The Kirkwood is a charity, they rely heavily on donations and the generosity of the local community to continue providing that care.

So we thought we’d donate something a little different to help raise some money. 😊

🌊 What’s your favourite thing about Portpatrick? ❤️

One of the things we love about staying at Killantringan Lighthouse Keepers Cottage is being able to walk along the beautiful coastal path into Portpatrick. The views are stunning, and once you arrive there’s plenty to tempt you! 🥾🌊

Maybe it’s a wander around the harbour, relaxing on the beach, enjoying some delicious food, or stopping for a drink at one of the village’s favourite spots. 🍽️🍻

Are you a fan of the Mount Stewart Hotel for a drink or something to eat? Or perhaps you prefer The Crown for its lovely atmosphere? 🍺🥂

✨🌌 Have you ever experienced a clear night at Killantringan Lighthouse? 🌌✨

With hardly any light pollution, the night sky here can be absolutely incredible! ⭐️🌙

On a really clear night, step outside, look up and you can see thousands of stars twinkling above the lighthouse — sometimes even a glimpse of the Milky Way. 🌌

It’s one of those moments when you just stop, take it all in and realise how special this little corner of Scotland really is. ❤️
