Have you ever walked from Killantringan to Portpatrick along the Southern Upland Way? 🥾🌊

If you have, you’ll definitely recognise this beautiful bay. One of our favourite parts of the coastline — rugged cliffs, turquoise water and those incredible views across the Irish Sea.

There’s something so special about this stretch of the walk, whether you’re stopping for a photo, spotting wildlife or just taking in the peace and quiet.

The sea is a stunning shade of turquoise today, the skies are crystal blue, and if you look closely you can just spot the top of the old shipwreck peeking above the water 🌊

Beautiful Monday morning here at Killantringan Lighthouse Keepers Cottage ☀️🌊

The sun is shining over the Irish Sea and we’re busy giving the exterior walls their annual whitewash to keep the cottage looking fresh, bright and ready to welcome our guests. There’s something very satisfying about seeing the lighthouse cottages glowing in the sunshine again!
