Happy Halloween from everyone here at Pugwash Cottage, and a very well behaved Deacon! Who has just left after a weeks stay at Pugwash with his non-fur family.

We hope everyone enjoys the tricks & treats Halloween has to offer 🎃 and hope to see the Setford family again sometime, thanks for the pictures 🥰

We are very lucky here at Pugwash Cottage to have such wonderful people stay! A lovely little gift of chocolate and wine was left from Yvonne Scully when they stayed in June this year, thank you so much Yvonne 🥰😘 they are going to go down a treat 😁

We have been well informed by our regulars at Pugwash Cottage, that The Basset Arms Portreath has now re-opened! 😃👍🏻🙌

Complete overhaul including accommodation, and delicious food back on the menu 😋

Anyone staying at Pugwash should check out this new Deli in Portreath, it looks amazing 😍🫶🙌😋

The best seats in the house for people watching. You can even bring your laptop and pretend to work if you like, we won’t dob you in.

An eggcellent reason to stay at Pugwash Cottage this Easter! 🐣👇🙌👏

Camborne & Redruth District Lions will be holding their 19th Annual Grand Easter Egg Hunt on Portreath Beach on Easter Sunday afternoon (20th April).

Entry is just £1 per child and there will be special prizes for the finders of the buried treasure eggs, though everyone will get an Easter egg! Entry is limited to 300 children, registration is at 1pm ahead the dig at 2pm.

Amazingly I’ve never noticed the cave graffiti before at Portreath Beach, a few minutes walk from Pugwash Cottage. I guess I’ve always had my head down looking for sea glass!
