Step inside our peaceful rooms looking out onto the valley and ancient woods of Illogan. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and a site of special scientific interest. We have two rooms available, each with 300 thread count linens, luxury, heavyweight towels, Duck Island toiletries, Orla Kiely and Cath Kidston accessories and, high-end furniture. achine/tea-making facilities, a silent fridge, and a full-sized hairdryer. Room 1 has a deep bath with rain shower and room 2 has a glassed walk-in shower. Fluffy dressing gowns are provided. You will also be able to enjoy the amazing views of Ilogan woods from your own private, furnished terrace, where you can watch the sun go down while sipping a glass of wine straight out of your own fridge. For the colder months, you will be able to snuggle up under a Siberian goose down duvet, in a room with underfloor heating and watch TV on our 32 inch, flat-screen smart TVs where you can catch up on your favourite TV shows on Iplayer, 4OD and all Freeview channels. A good night's sleep comes as standard at the Copper House. We have put a great deal of thought and time into choosing high-quality and comfortable mattresses and crisp linen. The house is very quiet, at night all you can hear is the hooting of the owls that live in the woods. We also have high-speed internet access available so that you can keep in touch with friends or research which of the area's numerous restaurants and pubs you would like to visit next. Because we know that holidays are special, we are pleased to offer you breakfast in your room any time up to 10am. We have a range of vegetarian and more traditional offerings as well as Dorset cereals and fruit to help you start your day in the best possible way. We only use locally sourced, gourmet meats (including the same bacon used in Jamie Oliver's restaurant supplied by Angus Trotter and sausages from Trevaskis). All eggs are free-range and laid by our friendly chickens. Our B&B is just a few minutes walk from Portreath's excellent safe and sandy beach which is popular year-round with surfers and swimmers. There are three pubs within easy walking distance where you can have a meal, a drink and maybe take part in the popular Friday night quiz. All the pubs serve food and we have 3 other cafe/restaurants/takeaway. Your friendly hosts Linda and Andy are always available to offer information about the local area from the most scenic spots to take a walk to the best fish and chips. We want to make your stay in The Copper House as memorable and enjoyable as possible, so please do not hesitate to contact us. About Us

We moved from London to Cornwall several years ago with the dream of opening the sort of B&B that we always wanted to stay in and that was as low impact as possible. We built the entire house from scratch so that we could include all of the environmentally-friendly features that we love - an air source heat pump, sustainable bamboo and Marmoleum flooring, low VOC paint and solar panels. We are passionate about the local area and want to give our guests a taste of that passion by making sure that they have the best stay possible. Prices: Room 1 £140 per night
Room 2 £120 per night

Room one is extremely large and features a six-foot bed. Room two is slightly smaller but just as luxurious and has a kingsize bed. Both have en suite bathrooms (see above)



Bookings are for a minimum of 2 days


We are closed from Christmas Eve until the 27th of December.

We are proud to have been awarded the highest TripAdvisor Green Leader Platinum Award for ongoing commitment to environmentally friendly practices and are one of only 32 (all big hotels) to have achieved this in the UK! Prices Room one features a Super King sized bed with dining area and sitting area. The en-suite bathroom has an extra deep bath/rain shower. And then there is the private terrace - with a view to die for.

Room two is slightly smaller but just as luxurious and has a King size bed. The en-suite bathroom has a glassed walk in shower room. Again, there is a private terrace with views down the valley.
