The big white chicken is a cobb, a table bird that I incubator hatched, her fellow eggs were all cooked when my incubator thermostat went wild 🤦🏼‍♀️😢 So I couldn't bring myself to pop her in the freezer, she will live out her life, be in long or short, in happy retirement. She gives me the occasional egg and is a very chatty bird. She's called Ann, after Ann Boleyn who was beheaded. Ally has an interesting sense of humour, our first lot of table birds we hatched were called the Sunday Lunches 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣
