❄️ A Winter Getaway at Edinbane Lodge

As summer begins to wind down, we’re already looking ahead to winter on Skye, a quieter, more atmospheric time of year.

From Thursday 17th December, we’ll be offering a series of special two-night winter stays at Edinbane Lodge.

Your stay will include two nights in one of our six individually designed rooms, a multi-course dinner on both evenings, and breakfast each morning.

Across the two nights, our menus will celebrate the very best of the season and the incredible produce we have here on Skye and across the Highlands.

Whether you’re travelling to the island for a winter escape or you’re a little closer to home and fancy a couple of nights away, we’d love to welcome you.

With only six rooms available, spaces for each stay will be very limited.

Two nights. Two dinners. Breakfast each morning. Winter on Skye.

Eight months on from our trip to New York and collaboration with Chef Yuu Shimano at Restaurant Yuu in Brooklyn.

While we were there, we sat down with Galavante to talk about our different approaches to food, the produce and people that shape what we do, and bringing a little bit of Skye to New York.

LUKE COMBS.

This year we’ve taken Edinbane Lodge on the road to London, New York, Zach Bryan’s European tour and now the Luke Combs European tour.

Our Taste of Skye menu has travelled a fair few miles this year, but this one felt different.

It was a real privilege to cook for Luke Combs’ band, management and touring crew. Their music has been the soundtrack to countless days in our kitchen during mise en place, so this was a special one for all of us.

We headed to Edinburgh, Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel, to cook for the band while they performed to 65,000 people at Murrayfield. A week later, our team were invited backstage at the sold-out Wembley show before watching them perform in front of 90,000 people.

A huge thank you to everyone at Edinbane Lodge. Opportunities like this only happen because of the hard work, consistency and standards the team brings every single day. It’s a privilege to take a little bit of Skye on the road.

Our biggest VIPs of the year visited us yesterday...

We had the pleasure of welcoming an entire primary school for lunch!

All 8 pupils and 3 members of staff from our next-door neighbours at Edinbane Primary School joined us to celebrate the last day of term before the summer holidays.

Burgers, chips and strawberries were on the menu, followed by a tour of the polytunnel, the gardens and, of course, the kitchen to see the lobsters and langoustines for dinner service.

By the time the tour was over, it was almost time for the school bell!
