The Collie and Mackenzie Monument outside Sligachan Hotel was spotted sporting some rather fetching traffic-cone hats earlier this week. With a view like that behind them, they still managed to pull off the look!

Did you know that a model of the monument can be found inside Sligachan Hotel? The explorers commemorated by the statue stayed at the hotel while mapping the Cuillin mountains ⛰️
