We are located between the two golden beaches in the harbour town of Portrush, the pedestrian gate from the house takes you straight onto the main street with all the restaurants and shops on the door step with the advantage of have its own private car park for residents, for those traveling by public transport the train station is a two minute walk away with the bus stop and taxi rank are just five minutes away.
Portrush is the perfect town to choose whether you are visiting the beautiful Antrim Coast with the Giants Causeway, Bushmills and Dunluce Castle all just a 10 – 15 minute drive away or going in the other direction you can follow the coastal road along to Downhill House, Mussenden Temple and onto Derry/Londonderry just 45 -55 minute drive an easy day trip from Portrush.
The house was in the early years a family home for a very prominent business family in Portrush by the name of the Hamiltons who opened and ran one of the main shops in Port rush in the late 1800’s early 1900’s. The house has retained many of its original victorian features with large stained glass windows on each landing and a grand pitch pine staircase leading to the rooms, In more recent time Mark and Janice have extended with a contemporary new build of three suites which brings the Antrim house very firmly into the 21st century.
