We recently had the pleasure of hosting a lovely reunion lunch for HMS Fearless their organiser sent us this amazing review we always appreciate it when a customer takes the time to write to us ⚓💙

I am writing to express not just my but also the FEARLESS guests most grateful thanks and appreciation to all the staff for delivering a perfect lunch on Friday last.

There were so many favourable remarks, most notably about the high standard of the food dishes – please pass on our gratitude to Blake. The venue was delightful and again please thank Elanor for coping magnificently with ensuring each guest received their order speedily and politely.

While the lunch itself went so well, the function got off to a friendly start in the bar thanks to Jodie and Kirsty. I had to be forceful to get the gang to leave for the dining room, so high was the level of ‘banter’ and recollections.

Handmade salmon fishcakes with a golden, crisp exterior and a soft, flaky centre, served with a warm, tangy tartare sauce with a hint of lemon and capers.

Steak & Ale Pie
Rich, slow-braised beef in a deep, flavourful ale gravy, encased in buttery golden pastry served alongside velvety cheddar mash and tender glazed carrots.

Spotted Dick & Custard
light, golden steamed sponge studded with plump sultanas, served warm and smothered in rich, creamy vanilla custard.
