Did you know about our plant based popup??

Shroom on Sunday🍄

Once a month the creative Lucy Bridgewater takes over our Captains Table restaurant to host her unique plant based roast dinner.

It's been a wonderful colaberation which has worked well for both of us. We love giving a pop up a permenant base to showcase their delicious food abd it helps us raise awareness of our beautiful hotel.
This Sunday 13th Septenber is when you can enjoy Lucy's roasts with all the trimmings, You can scan the QR code on the leaflet to book.

These are the dates for the rest of the year with a Xmas one to be announced, 18th October and 22nd November.

If you are a pop up or know anyone that has one and may be interested in hosting a regular afternoon or evening please get in touch we would love to hear from you.

Our talented chefs have created a fabulous menu to suit everybody's taste buds.

Here are some of the dishes you can choose from:

😋Traditional fish & chips b**r battered cod with triple cooked chips, garden peas and tartare sauce.

😋 Malaysian beef Rendang, tender pieces of beef cooked in coconut sauce & aromatic spices with steamed fragrant rice.

😋Chicken Supreme in Romesco sauce, sautéed peppers & onions with steamed rice or new potatoes.

😋 Chicken sweet & sour Chinese style Juicy chicken in a tangy sweet & sour sauce, fresh tomatoes, pineapple & onions with fragrant steamed rice

😋Sunday roast dinner, homemade Yorkshires, cauli cheese, seasonal vegetable, gravy & roasties and a choice of Topside beef, Lemon tyme chicken, Pork belly & nut roast

💙 Charity Evening 💙

We are delighted to host the 2026 Lord Mayor's Charity dinner at The Keppel's Head Hotel on Friday 25th September.

This is an annual event for us which we absolutely love hosting. The evening will be wonderful, enjoy a 3 course meal with live music a raffle lots of great company and good fun.

The evening is to help raise money for small local charities that make a real difference in our community, know that coming along will not only be a fabulous evening but you will be giving to some good causes.

Do you want to know a secret???🤫

We have new Asian dishes on our menu, Malaysian Beef Rendang and Chicken Sweet & Sour Chinese style not only are they absolutely delicious but they are the same recipes as we used in our sister restaurant Yan Woo !!

You can enjoy them with spring roll or prawn toast starters for lunch or dinner.

We have had some great feedback customers are loving the fresh flavours and tender meat.

Our children's menu is currently only £9.60 for 3 courses and a drink!
