What a weekend! 🚲 🎉

We hosted a great group of cyclists who first met 30 years ago through the Cyclist Touring Club & the Tandem Club. It turned into a double celebration too….a 65th birthday & a 30th wedding anniversary! 🎂

Plenty of biking, BBQs & bubbles in the hot tub….not a bad way to spend a weekend. 🍔

Thank you Jamie & co for choosing the Sail Loft as your venue 😀

Looking forward to seeing you all again! ❤️

🧸 THE GREAT PORTSOY DRAWER LOCKDOWN: A TEDDY BEAR’S EPIC TALE OF INCARCINATION 🧸

Our fluffy protagonist was recently the victim of a “safety” incident so extreme it bordered on a kidnapping. His little owner, in a fit of organizational genius, locked him in a drawer and hid the key in a place so “safe” it actually vanished from the known universe.

While the family spent the weekend frantically overturning the Sail Loft like a low-budget detective squad, Teddy was serving a life sentence in the dark. A new key was ordered in desperation by Ian, only for the original to smugly reappear in a rucksack pocket the moment they got home.

The key was posted to the caravan park, the rescue mission was launched with the intensity of a SWAT raid & we burst into the Sail Loft, key at the ready, expecting a traumatized bear. Instead, we found him just chilling—looking entirely like he’d enjoyed the peace and quiet 🧸🛋️

And he’s on his way home now, ready to be reunited with his pal ❤️
