Hello everyone, this is Jane, Ernestine, and Tom's daughter. I sat down with Mum recently and showed her all your kind words of support and memories of your stays at Strand House. She was so touched and was able to recollect a lot about you all! Mum and Dad loved getting to know their guests, lots of whom they can now call friends, and hope to see you again one day soon. Thank you so much.

After twenty incredible years of welcoming and hosting cherished guests, we regret to announce that Strand Guest House will close its doors on Saturday 13th April. 💔

It's been an extraordinary journey, filled with cherished memories of meeting so many wonderful people from around the world and enjoying great conversations over a home-cooked breakfast or Ernestine's white chocolate scones.

At Strand Guest House, we aimed to create a warm and welcoming home from home for our guests and offer a place of rest, recuperation, and a chance to explore the stunning North Coast of Ireland. We hope we succeeded in doing that and would like to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who made this experience so special for us. Your support and patronage over the years have meant the world. While it's difficult to say goodbye, we are filled with gratitude for the wonderful memories and friendships we have made along the way.

We extend our sincerest thanks to our loyal guests, dedicated staff, and everyone who has supported us over the years. You've made this journey truly unforgettable. Though our doors may be closing, the memories and connections will last forever.

We wish you every blessing for the future. Thank you for twenty amazing years.

It's official... Strand House is open again :)

The health and safety of our guests is so important to us so thank you for staying patient as we put in place appropriate measures before reopening.

A special thank you to Pure Lakes Skincare, longstanding provider of our natural and handmade amenities, for their luxurious hand sanitisers which are now placed across the house, including a complimentary mini version in rooms for guests to use when visiting the area.

Please note, best available rates can be found through our website at strandguesthouse.com and we will be operating on a 2-night minimum stay until further notice. All guests who have booked with us will be sent an email detailing next steps for a safe and relaxing stay.

We do look forward to opening our doors again. You will be the first to know when we decide it's safe to do so.

*Covid-19 Update*

The health and safety of both our guests and staff members has always been a priority for us at Strand House. In light of government recommendations this afternoon, Strand House will be closed until further notice.

During this uncertain time, we will aim to give scheduled guests at least two weeks' notice should we continue to be closed and it affect their booking. We will then do our best to reschedule or postpone bookings as best we can.
