Bowses Hill Farm is a family run farm house set in 10 Acres of rural woodland within its setting, surrounded by glorious farm fields, luscious coffee shops and walks. Myself and my partner are big lovers of the outdoors and nature, along with all things associated with camping and walking. So, with this in mind we wanted to offer our land for like-minded, keen campers to come and enjoy back to nat
ure within the woodland. We have sections within the area of the woodland that we are dedicating to :-
• Bell Tents for those who want a bit more indulgence with a camping feel.
• Woodland Lodge which offers its own private garden, together with a wood fired hot tub that sleeps up to 6 people.
• Glamping Pod a enclosed private garden and wood fired hot tub.
• Open Meadow which can accommodate tents, camper-vans, and all things family camping has to offer.
• Wild Woodland perfect for hammocks, bivy sacks and all things which wild camping enthusiast love. There is also a fully functioning luxury shower block on site with toilets for both male and females, which are serviced daily. We want you to appreciate nature, so whether you are camping or glamping are aim is for you to feel like you have escaped but feel at home and enjoy the surroundings. There is a lovely walk around the camp site or why not pick a section of the woods and go explore with your family and build a den, spot our wildlife that lives here and find the hidden tree drawings for your children to trace. In here you will also find enough wood and logs to collect for your camp fire and get to grips with bushcraft activities if you like to get your hands dirty. Near our camping field we have a section of farm animals to visit, from pigs digging and sniffling through the mud to goats jumping around there garden. Black swans and a range of beautiful friendly chickens. Within our woodland area, we have a handcrafted park built with the love and care for our younger visitors. for the older teens, we have a push bike pedal track, - please note, you will need to bring your own bikes. We allow open fires, BBQ’S and wild cooking but please be mindful of their location due to other campers and make sure they are lifted away from the ground and deposed of correctly, we provide fire pits for our Bell Tents, Woodland Lodge and Glamping Pods. Log’s can be purchased directly from ourselves or bought from our local shops within a 5 minute drive. All we ask is that you are respectful to our land and to others who want to come and enjoy this campsite after you. Appreciating that there will be a cut off time for noise levels (10:30pm) to respect our younger visitors and those who have merely come for a peaceful stay. Please be respectful of how you find the woodland as this is how we ask it to be left when you leave after your stay.
