Bowland Escapes is a family-owned park concentrating on sustainable, luxury lodge holiday sales and holiday rentals. Set within a 62-acre park in the heart of the Forest of Bowland and the Ribble Valley; just 2.5 miles from the rural village of Chipping and 9 miles from the historical market town of Clitheroe with its ancient 12th century Castle and vintage shops and tearooms.

1️⃣ Luxury Lodge – crisp sheets, plush super-king size mattress and all the comforts of home 🏡🍷

2️⃣ Shepherd’s Hut – cosy, charming and wonderfully snug once the fire is lite 🪵🔥

3️⃣ Safari Tent – basically glamping with a touch of outdoorsy adventure ⛺️🦒 Bunk beds included!

4️⃣ Camping Pod – wooden floor with a sleeping bag needed, makes for a good story to tell... great for introducing the little ones to camping outdoors 🏕️

5️⃣ Iron Age Roundhouse – concrete slab, sleeping bag required... and the chance to discover your inner caveman 🛖⚔️

💐 Our lovely guests arrived for a last-minute stay and were so happy to have secured the booking that they surprised us with beautiful flowers and biscuits to show their appreciation; it really made our day.

Meeting wonderful guests is one of the things we love most about what we do, and kindness like this reminds us why we feel so lucky to welcome people to our little corner of the beautiful Forest of Bowland.

How lucky are we to have such incredible countryside right on our doorstep? 🌿🚴‍♂️

From quiet country lanes to breathtaking views across the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland, there’s no better way to explore the area surrounding Bowland Escapes than by bike.

These photos were taken during a day out on hire e-bikes from Ribble Valley E-Bikes, and they made tackling the hills an absolute breeze! 🙌

The sun’s out this afternoon, so there’s no better time to explore one of our favourite local walks 🥾 Longridge Fell.

Located just a short drive from Bowland Escapes and easily visible from our park grounds, it’s a fantastic spot for stretching your legs and soaking up the Lancashire countryside 🌿

Head up to the trig point and you’ll be rewarded with cracking views across the surrounding landscape 😍
