Preston Punks (1976 - 1982) Were you a Preston punk in the late 70's - early 80's, or do you recognise someone who was? Were you a Preston punk in the late 70's - early 80's? location 3.

Did you hang out at the Palace Cafe, Cenotaph, The Warehouse, The Sun Hotel, Dog & Partridge, Gaiety Bar, Jalgos, Toms tavern, or spend a Saturday getting kicked out of as many cafes as possible....? If so then this is the page for you! If you have photos to add, anything fom 1977 to 1884 ish email them to [email protected] and I'll add them to the relevant folders. Please provide as much info as

possible ie location, date, names of persons in photo

This photo is from the same LEP series, though the actual clip seems to have got lost with time.

This is Ingrid (alias Sexton Pistol) who said of it:
The true horror can’t be conveyed in black and white because there was a lot of day-glo mismatched in this outfit....and I remember the infamous quote from the article “some people think I’m a moron but I don’t care!”

After this photo was published in the paper, giving Ingrid's full name and the street where she lived, she started to get inappropriate calls for unknown men, who'd tracked her down through the Phone Book. She was only 15 at the time.
