"After the Ruts DC gig last night, my brother kindly picked me up and we went back to his house (our parents old house) He said, I've found something in the loft a few weeks ago that you'll remember. My original homemade ripped and zipped T shirt from early 77 and a homemade Pop Group T shirt from 1980."

I was searching Google to try and find some info on a vintage clothing shop we used to visit c1981. It was called (I think) 'The Not So Near The Seaside Rock Shop', and was likely run by the guy who went on to set up the vintage clothing shop on the corner of Fox Street (in my memory, 'Walk on the Wild Side' will forever be playing on the old gramophone as I walk through the door).

CAN YOU HELP - Do you recognise anyone shown here? If so please PM/contact me. In 1980 I was an art student, I took photographs in Preston town centre of young people for a final year project. The photographs formed an exhibition at Grundy House Museum. I’ve already found many people from the pictures, now taking new photographs for a new exhibition.
