The Cartford Inn, originally a 17th century coaching inn located at the historic crossing of the River Wyre, is a multi award-winning pub, restaurant and boutique hotel. The days are growing shorter and colder, summer seems a distant memory, and Christmas still feels an awfully long way off. October can be an overlooked time of year, but there’s something rather special about autumn in our little corner of the Wyre.

It’s a beautiful time to get away for a night or two, and our Autumn Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package makes for an even more tempting excuse 🍂

SEAFOOD BOIL - TONIGHT 🌊🦀🐟

Granted, a rather last-minute announcement (a marketing issue, not an operational one), but if you happen to be at a loose end this evening, The Cartford might just be the place to be. For the first time ever, we’re bringing a proper Deep South seafood boil to the Fylde, and if the current smell of the kitchen is anything to go by, it’s going to be something special.

As usual, have supplied us with some of the finest seafood British waters have to offer, and it’s all getting the full Louisiana treatment: boiled in a stock packed with Old Bay, lemon and garlic, then smothered in garlic butter.

It’s on our Specials List tonight from 5:30pm, alongside our usual menus. There are still a few tables left, so if you’re quick, there could be a pot of the good stuff with your name on it.
