We are so sorry to say, that due to ongoing staff shortages we have taken the decision to close until further notice.

The B&B will still be operating.

Thanks to all our loyal customers and to all the local businesses that supported every endeavour, from our comedy club, artisan markets to live music.

We will be open for one last hurrah this weekend 12-close from Thursday. To celebrate our time at The George and go out with a bang, we will be offering buy one get one free on all drinks!*

This Thursday we are starting live music on the decking, we are joined by The Metros where they will be playing a selection of rock and roll tunes.

The metros will be on at 8pm so come down and keep the bank holiday vibes going with some live music, and excellent food! 🍔
