🌿Forest Bathing sessions at Pulborough Brooks 🌿
Saturday 15 August & Saturday 19 September

No swimsuits required! Despite the name, forest bathing doesn’t involve being in water. It’s simply about slowing down and immersing ourselves in the peaceful atmosphere of the trees. It’s a gentle, mindful way to switch off, connect with nature, and look after our wellbeing.

Led by a certified guide from The Forest Bathing Institute, expect two hours of calm and mindfulness as you are immersed in the sights, sounds, scents and sensations of our beautiful nature reserve.

Three days down, three to go... and this tournament is still wide open.

France remain at the top of the leaderboard, with the USA climbing into second place and Canada close behind. England currently sit fourth, but there's an important twist...

England and the USA have each had one fewer joust than France and Canada, meaning they still have extra opportunities to score tomorrow.

The atmosphere behind the scenes is fantastic. The knights are feeling the pressure, of course, but they're relishing every challenge as the competition heads into its second half.

Glow‑worms are making a comeback in the South Downs ⭐

A team of volunteers, working with National Park rangers, has released glow‑worm larvae at a site near Alton, Hampshire.

The common glow‑worm (actually a type of beetle) is declining across the UK due to habitat loss and light pollution, so this small reintroduction is a bright step toward helping local populations recover.
