Monday evening patrols of Talybont were being carried out leading to the seizure of 2 electric scooters being ridden on a public road.

E-Scooters are class as Personal Light Electric Vehicle therefore are treated as a motor vehicle and subject to the same legal requirements if ridden on a public road, cycle lane or pavement. This means that you could be prosecuted for motoring related offences.

Officers will continue to educate and if need be, enforce any offences identified should they come across them being used.

Heartbreaking to have to put this post out again especially on Good Friday!

We are having drainage issues again today and will be shut until it is sorted. We are totally gutted. 🤞🤞 we will be able to open later on.
