🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 A Day in Nefyn 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It’s a busy summer at Nefyn Cottage but I managed to squeeze in a day at my favourite place!

🤔 was it worth it for one day? Absolutely! Even 12 hours in Nefyn is good for the soul 🫶🏼

🚘 we drive through Criccieth on our route and if you’ve ever driven up the lane where you have a panoramic view of the ocean, countryside and castle then you’ll understand why that’s my favourite part of the journey!

👩‍🌾 onto the cottage where I tidied the garden, delivered supplies and carried out a few cottage jobs

🛍️ popped to Pwllheli for some self care 🧖‍♀️

⛳️ walked over the golf course to Porthdinllaen to enjoy my book (and a cider!) in the sun

🏖️ met up with friends at Nefyn Beach and did a bit of dolphin spotting

⛰️ drove home through the beautiful mountains

🐾 Bringing your four-legged friend to Nefyn Cottage this summer?

Good news — there are still plenty of beautiful beach walks to enjoy together even during the Summer!

🏖️ Local beach rules
Nefyn: dogs are allowed on the eastern side of the beach, they are banned to the western side towards the harbour
Morfa Nefyn: dogs are banned on the eastern side (to the right of the slipway) but allowed on the western side (towards Porthdinllaen)
Aberdaron: dogs are allowed to the left of the slipway
Llanbedrog: dogs on lead until you’ve passed the beach huts

🐶 Nefyn is still dog friendly even in the Summer, making early morning walks, coastal adventures and sunset strolls perfect for guests staying at our cottage 🐶🌊
