Tonight a cheque was presented to Motor Neurone Disease Association in Reading at De Vere Wokefield Estate. An amazing sum of £9,000 raised at the Micky Denny Memorial Golf Day held at the course here on the 29th September. Thank you to all of our members and friends for supporting the event and remembering our great friend and golf member Micky ⛳️

Congratulations to Tony & Neal Stanley on winning the inaugural Micky Denny Trophy. A fantastic final was played with the match being won on the 19th hole against Simon Bond & Neil Sprackling .

A fantastic day for our Captains Day raising money for the Burghfield and Mortimer First Responders. A fantastic day was had by all at our 25th Anniversary celebration. 25 years from farmland to the maturing challenging golf course we have today. This is possible thanks to the support of our members and club committee. Our De Vere colleagues in our greenkeeping, Estates, golf operations, food and beverage and sales team , all of who work hard day to day to ensure our golf members and guests have a memorable experience at Wokefield. Thank you to golf course architect Jonathan Gaunt for attending the event and sharing the history on the course design. Thank you to all who played and attended the evening . Here’s to the next 25 years 🍻⛳️
