We have officially decided that we will be keeping the African Queen closed for further renovations and work being done to the boat.
We are pleased with how far we have come but would prefer to keep it closed while doing additional work over the summer period.

We will be reevaluating closer to the end of the year.

🚢Our Captain Ryan welcomed the Environment Agency team on the African Queen today!! A positive visit and experience, and a lovely group of dedicated river lovers!! A big thanks to the team and their time spent aboard. We look forward to an ongoing great relationship with the Agency, and with the river community as a whole!!⚓️

🚢 All Aboard! The African Queen is Under New Ownership & Ready to Welcome You Back! 🚢

Thema Leisure have taken ownership of the stunning hotel boat and have been working tirelessly to open its doors once again.

We are happy to announce that the new ownership team are of extended family and fully understand the essence of the African Queen.
The team have been hard at work over the last 3 months, with renovations and an updated interior.

Whilst the final stages of renovations are underway, we will be opening room sales from the end of February.
