💥Opening Update💥

The kitchen gas has now been isolated but it does mean that we cannot open for food service until tomorrow (Tuesday, 25th August 2026). We will open from midday with food being served between 12-2.30pm and 6-8.30pm.

We have decided to open the bar for drinks only from 4-7pm to allow the engineer to be on site overnight to allow us to open.

Many thanks for your continued support and understanding and once again our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.

⚠️We have had to close⚠️

Unfortunately owing to a gas leak, we have had to make the decision to close for the rest of today.

We have also decided to close for at least our lunch service tomorrow (Monday, 24th August 2026), dependent on an engineer coming to site in the morning. We will endeavour to keep you updated via social media with regards to the evening service.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause but obviously the welfare of our staff and customers is paramount where issues such as this are concerned.

⭐️🏃 🏃‍♀️ A Busy Wednesday is upon us…🏃‍♀️🏃⭐️

Once again the team at Tricky’s are pleased to be hosting the Annual Summer Turkey Trot taking place this Wednesday, 15th July. It is a 4 Mile Road Race organised by Cornwall Athletics Club

🎟️ Registration is at Tricky's Hotel, Bar & Restaurant from 5.30pm in the Garden Room.

🍔 There will burgers/ fries, hot dogs and other refreshments available to purchase in the BBQ area. This is not only open to competitors, but also to the general public so why not come along, enjoy the sun and some food and cheer on the Paula Radcliffes and Mo Farahs of Cornwall!! 🍟🌭

🍻The Bar/Restaurant is open as normal and will be cooking up the treats from our normal weekday menu, so if you’re not a fan of the BBQ, we’ve got you covered 🍕

🚗 Free Parking is available for competitors at the nearby Mosely Museum situated opposite Tricky’s, and also one of our neighboring fields. Our Main Car Park will be reserved for the general public looking to join us for dinner that evening.
