Feeling Christmassy…beautiful decorations and delicious food on our recent visit to the Kings Arms in Reeth…highly recommended! Great options for kids and adults alike, my lamb was divine😍 3 minutes walk to Crow Hall!

Beautiful Skinningrove beach. Followed by a visit to Saltburn - the arcade and fish and chips on the prom. Cobwebs blown away! 1hr 15 mins from Crow Hall.

Stoked up with cake from Ghyllfoot tearooms, we then drove to Muker and had a lovely walk to the Swale across Muker meadows. Spotted eyebright and lots of pignut, red clover and buttercups. Rather wet but that didn’t stop us - waders on and in the river! Late lunch at the Farmers Arms in Muker. First time visiting since it became a community owned pub - absolutely super!

Dales Bike Centre - always a favourite with my boys for brekkie or a cake.
We love walking from Crow Hall via the swing bridge to Grinton then stopping for a refuel before walking back to Reeth - lovely easy circuit that my 5 year old handles well!

Fab day out at Beamish yesterday. Always a winner! Highlights for my boys - taking the buses and trams, the 1950s town and playground plus the new cinema which has opened since our last visit, the sweet shop and the 1900s town and fairground. Something for everyone to see and I always learn something new!

Ice cream making course in Reeth. Brilliant birthday treat for my eldest - thank you Poppy for being a fab teacher! Lovely small group and lots of fun for grown ups too. Finished off by sampling our creations in the Crow Hall garden!
